بررسی عوامل مؤثر بر رفتار غذادهی مردم به سگ‌های ولگرد در شهرستان جیرفت

چکیده
امروزه جمعیت سگ‌های ولگرد در سراسر دنیا در حال افزایش است که این امر منجر به تعارض بین انسان و سگ ­ها در محیط­ های شهری شده است. درک احساسات و نگرش مردم نسبت به سگ‌های ولگرد می­ تواند به حل این تعارض کمک کند. در سال‌های اخیر، حضور سگ‌های ولگرد در شهرهای مختلف کشور افزایش یافته است که این امر منجر به افزایش گاز گرفتگی، ترس، بهم زدن آسایش و سلامت مردم شده است.  هدف اصلی مطالعة حاضر بررسی عوامل مؤثر بر رفتار غذادهی سگ­های ولگرد شهرستان جیرفت توسط مردم در استان کرمان در یک مهر تا یک دی ماه  1401 است. بدین‌منظور متغیر غذا‌دهی و عدم غذا‌دهی به‌عنوان متغیر وابسته و متغیرهای دیگر از جمله سن، جنس، سطح تحصیلات، ترس مردم و همچنین موافقت مردم با نقش تهدیدکنندگی حضور سگ ­ها در امنیت و سلامتی مردم، و تعدد غذادهی نزدیکان آنها به سگ­های ولگرد به‌‌عنوان متغیر‌های مستقل در نظر گرفته شدند. با کمک مدل رگرسیون لجستیک، این روابط بررسی شد. یافته‌ها نشان داد 34/5درصد از پاسخ‌دهندگان به سگ­ های ولگرد غذا می­ دادند. همچنین نتایج نشان می ­دهد در افراد با ترس بیشتر­ نسبت به سگ­های ولگرد (0/000=P؛ 0/810=B) و آنهایی که سگ ­ها را به‌عنوان یک تهدید برای امنیت و سلامتی خود تلقی می­کنند (0/009=P؛ 0/473=B)، تمایل به غذادهی کاهش می یابد. همچنین نتایج نشان داد که خانم ­ها در مقایسه با آقایان (0/000=P؛ 0/060=B) تمایل بیشتری به غذا دهی به سگ­ های ولگرد دارند. سن و تحصیلات تأثیر معنی‌داری بر رفتار غذادهی مردم ندارد. این مطالعه نشان می ­دهد که مدیریت پایدار جمعیت سگ ­های ولگرد و حل تعارض آنها با مردم نیازمند درک عمیق از نگرش، ادراک، احساس و دیگر عوامل می‌باشد.

Today, the population of Free ranging dogs (FRDs) is increasing all over the world, which has led to conflict between humans and dogs in urban environments. Understanding people's emotion and attitudes towards FRDs can help to solve this conflict. In recent years, the presence of FRDs has increased in the different cities of Iran, which has led to an increase in bites, fear, disturbing the comfort and health of people. The main aim of the present study is to investigate the factors affecting the feeding behavior to FRDs in Jiroft city by people in Kerman province between 23 September and 22 December 2022. For this purpose, the variable of feeding and no feeding as a dependent variable and other variables such as age, sex, education level, fear, agreeing with the fact that the presence of FRDs will threaten people's safety and health, and how many of their neighbors feed FRDs were considered as an independent variable. Finally, in order to investigate these variables, we used logistic regression. Results showed that 34.5% of the respondents fed FRDs. Results indicated that people who are more afraid of FRDs are less inclined to feed them (B=-0.810, P=0.000), as well as, people who perceive FRDs as a threat to their safety and health (B=-0.473, P=0.009) are also reluctant to feed them. Also, results indicated that women are more willing to feed FRDs compared to men (B=-1.060, P=0.000). Age and education have no significant effect on people's feeding behavior. This study shows that sustainable management of FRDs ​​population and solving their conflict with people requires a deep understanding of attitude, perception, emotion and other factors.
