Journal of Natural Environment

The Journal of Natural Environment, under the supervision of the Department of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Natural Resources, University of Tehran, is managed and published as a quarterly journal, with four issues released annually. Full access to all articles published in the journal is freely available through the journal's website and no subscription fee is required.

Authors are kindly requested to carefully review the Instructions for Authors and comply with all requirements and conditions for manuscript submission. Particular attention should be paid to the information concerning copyright and conflicts of interest provided in the Instructions for Authors. Authors are required to comply with the relevant requirements, accurately complete the corresponding forms, and upload them to the journal’s submission system at the time of manuscript submission.

The manuscript acceptance process is described in the relevant section, where the maximum review period is also specified. Acceptance of a manuscript requires completion of a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two reviewers, followed by approval by the Associate Editor and the Editor-in-Chief.

All stages of manuscript processing in this journal—including submission, peer review, revision, acceptance or rejection, and final publication—are conducted exclusively through the journal’s online submission system.

According to the resolution dated April 29, 2012 (1391/02/09) of the Research and Technology Council of the University of Tehran, in research articles resulting from the supervision of a University of Tehran faculty member, a student may not be designated as the corresponding author.

Furthermore, pursuant to Clause 4-1-25 of the Special Research Grant Allocation Regulations, approved on July 16, 2016 (1395/04/26) by the University’s Research and Technology Council, failure to comply with this requirement will result in the faculty member(s) listed as author(s) of the article being ineligible to receive the corresponding special research grant credit.

The Journal of Natural Environment, in accordance with the principles and standards of publication ethics, follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the Executive Regulations of the Law on Prevention of and Countering Fraud in Scientific Works.

According to the notification issued by the University's Vice President for Research, any certificate of manuscript acceptance will be issued exclusively through the journal's submission system and sent to the corresponding author. An acceptance email will be sent upon final acceptance of the manuscript, which constitutes the official acceptance of the article. No separate acceptance certificate will be issued.

For correspondence with the journal office, authors may contact the editorial office via email at jne@ut.ac.ir.
